Today I put a plastic bag on it so she could take a bath. She would NOT take that thing off. Finally I had to tell her that princesses don't wear brown plastic bags on their arms, and instead I cut off a piece of some old pajama pants and put that around her splint. It is now a cute purple polka-dot splint that is worthy for even the most beautiful of princesses. We then had a princess parade. :)
This is the cat Abi got from Great Grandma Hamblin when she broke her arm. The cat's name is cat-sparkles-rainbow. :)
I feel so bad for poor little Abi.

Awe - poor Abi!
She is so cute.
I am SO glad she is ok. Kind of a BIG scare for mom?!
I am sure sparkles-rainbow will make everything better.
Poor Abi. Glad that she will be ok, minus a cast. Cute kitty.
:)
Poor sweet girl! And poor you! You must have nearly had heart failure...
I hope that she heals up super fast. She sounds like a real trooper! I love that you all had a princess parade. You are a wonderful, creative mom :)

Poor Abi! She is such a cute little princess though :) Hope she feels better quickly, and that you can get through the next 6 weeks ok. Been there, done that twice with legs. So scary for you though!!
That's ironic! Sariah fractured her leg that Monday. I can totally relate! :)I have learned that kids are WAY more adaptable than adults. Sariah doesn't even notice her full leg cast anymore! I'm sure you, like me, can't wait to get that dirty smelly thing off!
